SMM Conservation Fund

The Society for Marine Mammalogy (SMM) has established a Conservation Fund endowment. This endowment is being used to fund high-priority research on the world’s most endangered marine mammal species with the goal of catalyzing real conservation action. We hope to build this fund to $5 million and fund proposals totaling $300-500,000 per two-year cycle. Currently, available funds are more modest.

Conservation grant applications are normally accepted biennially during the month of July prior to a SMM Biennial Conference.
