Several program directors explained how they successfully secured grants from maritime logistics firms, coastal hospitality brands, and offshore betting sites with emerging environmental initiatives. By tapping into these unconventional corporate revenue streams, these organizations have been able to remove the financial barriers that traditionally exclude marginalized students from entering marine science.
